The new Aldi will unveil at the Liberty Tree Mall, located at 100 Independence Way in Danvers, at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, an Aldi spokesperson told Daily Voice.
The first 100 customers will get a reusable shopping bag and gift card at the grand opening, the spokesperson said. Shoppers can also enter to win a $500 Aldi gift card.
"The savings in Danvers are getting bigger," the store's website reads. "From fresh produce to organic foods, we've got it all for less, every day."
With the Danvers store, the total number of Aldi locations in Massachusetts will grow to 19. Store hours will be daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for five years running,” said Chris Daniels, South Windsor regional vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first ALDI store in Danvers and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
Links to the store's online catalogue and weekly deals are now live on Aldi's website.
